bbco MesseManufaktur based in the Middle Franconian city of Fürth designs and constructs "three-dimensional brand appearances"  for medium-sized companies and industry, a brand appearance as beautiful, explanatory and convincing as a glossy brochure, yet, in three dimensions. Architects, designers, craftsmen and technicians work hand in hand to make the exhibition stands impressive - from a small information location to multi-storeyed showrooms as large as hockey fields. At trade fairs from Düsseldorf to Dubai, in Bavaria, Bologna, Istanbul or Madrid, the trade fair constructors from Fürth are active.

Their concept for success? For bbco founder Lars Borngräber it is entrepreneurial bravery and his profound experience in the trade. "What's crucial at a trade fair is a well-made "live" presentation. Everything needs to be creative and structually well aligned, obviously. But it is our aim for the audience to catch fire on the location. So the most important criteria of our design is that the people working at the stand are enthusiastic". The Bavarian Founder Award 2012 will be awarded in Nuremberg on May 3. The Savings Bank Association has been highlighting exemplary achievements in the building of companies in Bavaria with this award since 1997. The three best "founders" of the state in each of the six categories are nominated.Their outstanding success in only the second year of the company's existance, bbco MesseManufaktur ascribe to their know-how and the teamwork of the presently already 10 staffers and 24 freelancers. "We provide the entire works necessary for an exhibition appearance", says Lars Borngräber, "We're sort of a creative hawker's tray. We conceptualize, design and build but we also have to transport and warehouse precisely accurate, we organize and counsel extensively. As a startup you will only catch on if you have really good people working together, flexible and reliable. Without this, we would never have been able to make our way in such a short time." The award for one of the three best companies in Bavaria means a lot to the team since during the starting phase a tremendous performance is necessary. "Such public recognition is an additional incentive," says the founder and manager.
